Hillman Additional Information

This is a really good example of the Hillman Imp, a great little car in its day which is now gaining a considerable following, particularly as there are so few good examples left on the road. First registered in December 1973 the car retains its original specification, as detailed in its Rootes Archive Centre Certificate, together with a few sensible modifications to help it deal with modern traffic conditions.

There aren't many of these interesting cars available today, and very few in this condition. The bodywork is in very good order, solid and straight, and the paintwork presents very well. The interior is original and in very good condition. The car is in excellent mechanical order, starting, driving and stopping as it should, altogether the light and lively driving experience which Imps were known for "back in the day".

There is a good history file with many invoices and receipts, MOTs and previous keeper details. The recorded mileage is 53000, the current MOT (with no advisories) runs until January 2019. It is road tax payment exempt and HPI clear.

This is a lovely car which has obviously received a great deal of care and attention over the years and which always attracts attention and favourable comments wherever it goes. It will give its new owner a great deal of pleasure for many years to come.

Viewing is by appointment at my dry and well lit premises in Burwash, East Sussex. Please call me on 07860 726219 for further details or to arrange a viewing. Any inspection is very welcome.
